Job description

Our client is a luxury tour operator specialising in luxury leisure travel to worldwide destinations.

They are now recruiting for a Travel Operations and Support Manager to help support their team of independent travel consultants assisting with any operational issues, product knowledge any ticketing issues.

Candidates for this role must have a background gained within tour operations (essential) with good knowledge of GDS systems and ticketing.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis - Central London

Travel Operations and Support Manager Responsibilities

Managing a team of independent travel consultants by being their day-to-day contact for questions and issues via phone, emails, and virtual meetings

Develop personal, solid, consultative with each independent travel consultant.

Regular catch ups to review their portfolio and knowledge and provide ongoing development.

Problem solve any issues the they may have in regards to ticketing, cancellation, hotel issues, internal IT problems, customer service issues etc

Travel Operations and Support Manager Experience Required

Experienced gained within tour operations in the travel industry is essential in a similar role or within operations, reservations management or account management.

Experience in customer complaint handling.

Good training and development skills

Working knowledge of a GDS
