Business Development Manager - Corporate Travel (AR0410)

My client is an independently owned corporate travel who is experiencing growth at an unprecedented rate.

The corporate travel market has fully recovered post pandemic, and they are now seeking to employ an experienced business development manager to focus on new business wins and account management within the North West and Scotland.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and generating new leads, achieving new business trading targets and assisting with proactive sales activity, along with working closely with the Operations team.

Previous experience and knowledge of the corporate travel market is essential along with a proven track record of B2B sales growth and achievement within the corporate travel industry.

This is a hybrid role - part remote and part office based in Glasgow.

Corporate Travel Business Development Manager Duties:

Identifying and contacting potential clients and managing the full sales process

Utilise thorough research and effective lead generation to create a productive sales pipeline of genuine opportunity

Maximise opportunities through effective selling techniques

Create and maintain positive relationships to build business

Work closely with the Operations Manager to guide, support and develop the sales and reservations team

Corporate Travel Business Development Manager Experience Required:

Previous experience in a similar sales or business development position within the corporate travel market

Track record of B2B sales growth and achievement

Good commercial acumen and a detailed knowledge and understanding of the corporate travel sector

Proven ability to build and develop effective relationships

Strong negotiation skills and ability to close the business

Corporate Travel Business Development Manager Salary and Benefits:

Base salary to 47,000

Uncapped commission based on performance paid quarterly

Fully autonomy

22 days annual leave
