Our client is an award-winning tour operator who is a specialist in escorted tours to worldwide destinations.
Due to record growth and expansion, they are now recruiting a Travel Operations Executive to join their groups team.
This is a pivotal role, being part of the operations team dedicated to looking after everything once the booking has been made and providing the best customer service possible to their clients and travel agent partners.
The day-to-day role will involve answering calls and replying to emails from clients/agents who have questions and queries.
To be considered, candidates must have previous experience gained in an operations based role within the travel industry.
This role is available on a hybrid basis - Central London
Travel Operations Executive Duties and Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls and dealing with client/agent queries.
Looking after shared mailboxes, responding to all emails within set timescales.
Producing client/agent invoices, emailing confirmation documents.
Entering client's personal data into the reservation system and chasing missing information.
Acquire knowledge of the company's products and practices so that clients telephone enquiries can be efficiently answered.
Be responsible for processing amendments and cancellations to clients existing holidays as per client/agents request.
Dealing with itinerary changes that have been made and need to be communicated to customers.
Travel Operations Executive Experience Required:
Previous experience in a similar operations/support role within the travel industry is essential
Highly customer-focused
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to plan & prioritise effectively, well organised
Strong interpersonal skills
Travel Operations Executive Base Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary to £29,000 depending on experience
Up to 20% bonus annually
Hybrid working
