Antella Travel Recruitment is delighted to be supporting our client, one of the UK's leading DMCs, providing comprehensive ground-handling services across the UK and Ireland for international groups.
The business specialises in tailor-made group travel, including cultural tours, special interest programmes and experiential itineraries, working with travel partners across international markets.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a fluent Italian-speaking Account Development Executive to join their Edinburgh-based team.
The Role
As an Account Development Executive, you will be responsible for costing, preparing and quoting incoming group tours from Italian travel partners travelling to the UK and Ireland.
You will work closely with clients, suppliers and the operations team to ensure each programme is accurately costed, commercially viable and delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Manage your portfolio of pending and confirmed groups, working closely with the Operations team throughout the booking process
Cost and prepare tailor-made group itineraries for Italian travel partners
Create detailed technical itineraries based on the client programme and agreed quotation
Ensure all relevant information, rates and budgets are accurately entered into the internal system
Build and maintain strong relationships with Italian clients, suppliers and internal teams
Provide a high level of customer service throughout the booking and operational process
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:
Previous experience working for a UK & Ireland inbound tour operator or DMC, specifically within Groups
Native or fluent Italian language skills
Strong knowledge of the UK and Ireland, including geographical knowledge
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
The ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for UK & Ireland inbound group travel
