Job description

Our client is an international luxury travel brand who sell both directly to the consumer and through the travel trade within the UK and Europe.

As the travel industry continues to rebound post pandemic, they are now recruiting for a Commercial Planning Manager.

The Commercial Planning & Sales Operation is the key function for the coordination of commercial strategy and optimization of resources in the market.

The Commercial Planning Manager is responsible for optimising the total cost of sales and aligning market goals and actions to the company strategy involving data integration and analytical activities to support all commercial planning initiative and sales operations in the UK and Europe.

Applicants for this role must have previous commercial experience gained in a revenue management or a business analyst role.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis - Part Remote and Part Office - Central London

Commercial Planning Manager Responsibilities:

Working with the Revenue Management & Commercial Planning Team to develop, present and execute the market's annual and five-year strategic plans.

Working with the Commercial Planning Team to define the travel partners annual guest/revenue budget and commission program.

Commercial analysis - conduct analysis of internal and external business trends to drive the commercial activities of the local office.

Revenue Reporting - develop and run daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of the trade business

Forecasting - Support to Commercial Planning & Sales Operations Director and Revenue Management department in budget and forecast definition (revenues, commission, travel agent growth targets and sales & marketing costs)

Commercial Planning Manager Experience Required;

Previous experience in a commercial role within revenue management, business analytics is essential

Flexible approach to responsibilities and remit

Able to present data and findings concisely and simply to a broad audience

Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the business, a team player

Commercial Planning Manager Salary and Benefits;

Base Salary to 70,000 depending on experience

Bonus structure up to 10%

23 days annual leave
