Our client is leading travel company who specialises in worldwide destinations working with through both B2C and B2B channels.
Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for an experienced detail-oriented Finance Assistant to manage financial transactions and records for their travel operations.
Financial experience gained in the travel or tourism inustry is preferred but not essential and must also possess knowledge of accounting principles, exceptional organisational skills, and a passion for the travel industry.
This role ensures accurate financial reporting and efficient management of day-to-day financial tasks.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis - North London.
Finance Assistant Duties and Responsibilities include:
Process invoices from overseas suppliers and investigating discrepancies, liaising between different departments to ensure accuracy
Reconcile all bank accounts
Running client debtors reports and chasing money owed
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in all financial entries.
Finance Assistant Experience Required:
Previous finance experience gained within the travel or hospitality industry preferred but not essential
Ability to multi-task and good organisational skills
Experience of dealing with a variety of bank accounts and suppliers
Good interpersonal skills are key to maintain good relationships and lines of communications with supplier accounts departments.
Finance Assistant Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary to £35,000 depending on experience (negotiable)
22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
