Job description
Our client is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial travel and media company specialising in Escorted Touring and small ship river cruising.
They have developed partnerships with some of the world's best media brands to provide exclusive bespoke travel programs for their readers and members.
Due to their growth, they are recruiting for an experienced Senior Travel Marketing Executive to join their team.
The Senior Travel Marketing Executive will be responsible for managing the website and white-label sites, managing the print promotion process with media partners, as well as working with the wider team to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels to drive brand awareness, audience growth and client retention.
Experience in a similar role as a Senior Travel Marketing Executive within travel is an advantage but not essential.
This is a hybrid role with one day per week spent in the office.
Senior Travel Marketing Executive Responsibilities:
General merchandising, upkeep and maintenance of the websites
Uploading holiday itineraries and content, ensuring key USP's are highlighted and relevant SEO optimisation
Supporting the websites' content strategy and roll out such as the creation of 'collections', landing pages and article pages in the CMS
Monitor, optimise and analyse website and campaign performance, report findings and provide recommendations
Researching, writing, editing and proofreading all copy and content across the business such as print, brochures, product copy, inspirational blog posts and articles
Manage marketing collateral production and timelines
Produce content and schedule/implement activity across other marketing channels such as email, social media, paid search
Senior Travel Marketing Executive Experience Required:
Previous experience working within marketing in a commercial organisation with an interest in travel and media
Experience in working with a CMS
Experience in working with Google Analytics, social media and email platforms
Experience in researching, writing, editing and proofreading copy and content (including images) for a variety of marketing purposes and channels
A detailed understanding of difference in various 'tones of voice' and the ability to write in different styles
Exemplary attention to detail with excellent command of spelling and grammar
A creative, confident team player with a passion for marketing
