Our client is an award-winning luxury B certified corporation tour operator who are specialist in the niche travel area of adventure and activity-based holidays
They work with both direct clients and the travel trade and are now seeking to recruit highly motivated, service driven candidates who can multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
They are now recruiting for a Travel Groups Consultant to join their team.
The role combines both sales and providing the very highest levels of customer service with a major focus on attention to detail.
Candidates must have previous experience within the travel industry in a similar role although my client will also consider travel and tourism graduates or candidates who have travel qualifications seeking the opportunity to develop their career within the travel industry.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis - two days a week in the office and three days remote
Travel Groups Consultant Responsibilities:
Handle Customer Inquiries: Answer inbound calls, assist members, guests Group Organisers and Tour Operators with holiday bookings, amendments, cancellations, and providing quotes.
Make calls to follow up on quotes, promote holiday packages, and sell memberships. Update and amend membership sales records as required.
Use the company's reservations system to manage and update bookings, ensuring all details are correct and any special requests are addressed.
Provide exceptional service by addressing customers' needs with a positive and solution-focused attitude, handling complaints effectively and escalating when necessary.
Ensure accuracy in all bookings, cancellations, and amendments. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions.
Travel Groups Sales Consultant Experience Required:
Previous sales/reservations or customer service experience gained within the travel industry.
Travel and Tourism graduates or those with travel qualifications with good customer services skills will also be considered
Exceptional sales and customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication competency
High quality attention to detail
A willingness to take responsibility and to work as a part of a close team
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Travel Groups Consultant Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary to £27,000 depending on experience.
