Groups and Charters Specialist (AR1111)

Our client is a market leading luxury cruise company offering some of the most unforgettable travel experience worldwide.

They offer a bespoke high-end river cruise programme to destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Our client has experienced a record year for revenue, growth and bookings hence the team expansion.

They are now recruiting for a Groups and Charters Specialist to take ownership of some of their most valuable and complex business, supporting travel agent partners, group organisers and charter clients from the first conversation through to travel.

Candidates must have previous experience travel industry experience managing group travel bookings, allocations or charter arrangements.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis - Surrey.

Groups and Chaterrs Specialist Duties:

Take ownership of group bookings from initial enquiry and quotation through to finalisation and travel.

Prepare detailed and accurate quotations tailored to client and travel agent requirements.

Create and maintain group bookings and individual reservations, ensuring all records remain accurate and up to date.

Manage group allocations, including blocking, allocating and releasing staterooms, monitoring availability and escalating inventory challenges where necessary.

Manage booking amendments, cancellations and other changes as required.

Raise, manage and verify invoices and payments, ensuring all financial details and booking records are accurate.

Coordinate group air, hotel, land and other arrangements with the relevant internal teams.

Ensure all guest details, documentation and final booking requirements are received and completed by the relevant deadlines.

Groups and Charters Specialist Experience Required:

Previous experience managing group travel bookings, allocations or charter arrangements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships with travel agent partners, group organisers and guests.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate booking, inventory and financial records.

Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bookings, deadlines and stakeholders at the same time.

Commercial awareness and confidence working with payments, balances, costs and booking values.

Groups and Chaters Specialist Salary and Benefits:

Base Salary to £38,000 + Bonus average of £6,000 per annum
