Are you a skilled negotiator with a passion for the travel industry? Our client, a leading specialist in the UK travel sector, is seeking a dynamic Contracts Manager to join their growing contracting team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in hotel and transportation contracting and supplier relations while contributing to the company's continued success.

As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in negotiating seasonal Group contract rates and securing exclusive deals with a portfolio of hotels and transportation suppliers across the UK and Ireland. Your in-depth knowledge of the market and ability to identify 'must-have' hotels within a destination will be crucial in achieving room night and revenue-based targets. You will also be responsible for negotiating added-value deals and special offers to enhance the company's competitive edge.

In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will:

  • Advise on preferred partner hotels in relevant destinations and negotiate exclusive deals
  • Secure exclusive rates, inventory, and conditions through skilled negotiations and effective supplier relationship management
  • Constantly monitor the competitiveness of contracted rates and optimise availability to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Demonstrate your expertise as the go-to hotel expert for your assigned region, possessing in-depth knowledge and understanding of your markets
  • Communicate vital destination information, including peak dates, trade shows, and visitor information, to keep stakeholders informed and aligned

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience in hotel / transportation contracting, within the UK and Ireland markets
  • A solid understanding of UK inbound tourism, including its products and destinations
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills to secure the best possible deals
  • Proficiency in evaluating and analysing data to determine and execute effective growth strategies
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

In return for your expertise and dedication, our client offers a competitive salary range of £40,000 to £45,000, along with 24 days of holiday plus bank holidays. This position is a mix of hybrid, remote, and office-based work, depending on the peak season, which spans five months per year.
