Four Years of Antella: A Journey of Passion, People, and Purpose!

It’s with an immense sense of pride and a whole lot of joy that I’m sitting down to write this. This May marks a very special milestone for us – Antella Recruitment is celebrating its fourth birthday! Four years! It feels like just yesterday Tony and I were taking those exciting, slightly nerve-wracking first steps to launch our own recruitment consultancy, and now look where we are.

When Tony Yerasimou and I co-founded Antella Recruitment back in May 2021, we had a clear vision: to create a recruitment service that was deeply rooted in the travel and tourism industry we both love, but with a personal touch that genuinely cared for every candidate and client. We wanted to build something based on authenticity, integrity, and a commitment to quality – values that continue to guide us every single day.

To bring this vision to life online, especially in those crucial early days, we knew we needed a website that truly reflected who we are and what we stand for. We were incredibly fortunate to partner with Andrew from Nodex, who expertly designed and built our Antella website. Andrew's creativity, understanding of the recruitment world, and unwavering support were invaluable in helping us establish our digital presence and get Antella off to a flying start. We’re so genuinely grateful for Nodex’s help and continued support in getting us to this point; they’ve been a fantastic partner.

Looking back, these four years have been an incredible adventure. We’ve navigated the tail-end of a global pandemic’s impact on travel, seen the industry bounce back with inspiring resilience, and had the privilege of working with some truly exceptional talent and fantastic companies across the UK and Europe. From placing candidates in inbound and outbound travel, to finding the perfect fit for travel support services and specialist multilingual roles, every successful placement has been a moment of celebration for us.

For us, recruitment has never been just about filling roles; it's about understanding people's aspirations, supporting their career journeys, and helping businesses build teams that thrive. We’ve always believed in quality over quantity, ensuring that we don’t just match skills, but also personalities and company cultures. It’s this approach that has led to us proudly achieving a 92% successful role fill rate and seeing 90% of our clients return to us – statistics that speak volumes about the trust placed in us.

One aspect of Antella that Tony and I are particularly proud of is our commitment to giving back. Our “Charity & Care” value means a percentage of every placement fee is donated to a charity nominated by our client. It’s a small way for us to contribute to causes that matter and to extend our ethos of care beyond the immediate world of recruitment.

These four years wouldn't have been possible without the incredible people who have been part of our journey. To our wonderful clients: thank you for your trust, your partnership, and for allowing us to be a part of your growth. To our amazing candidates: thank you for sharing your ambitions with us and for allowing us to support you in finding your next adventure. Your success stories are what motivate us every day.
